Stage Writers and Brighter Tomorrows proudly present the first-ever Purple Playbill staged reading event, featuring four locally-written plays, designed to promote awareness and prevention of domestic and teen dating violence to the North Texas community.

In partnership with WORD, Stage Writers will celebrate the one-year anniversary of our inaugural meeting by hosting the first annual Stage Writers Festival. From comedy to drama, sci-fi to romance, DFW-area playwrights are in the spotlight, when nine short plays receive staged readings by local actors.
